Hey folks! Here's my take on the Talladega weekend.
Saturday was the Xfinity race. Elliott Sadler won with 1 lap led, followed by Justin Allgaier, rookie Brennan Pole with 5 laps led, Jeremy Clements with 7 laps led and Brendan Gaughan with 1 lap led. Rounding out the top-10 were Austin Dillon with 7 laps led, Daniel Suarez with 2 laps led, pole-sitter Matt Tifft with 21 laps led, Chase Elliot with 7 laps led and Aric Almirola. Rookie Brandon Jones was 19th after leading 36 laps. Blake Koch was 24th after 1 lap led. Joey Logano led 19 laps and was 27th. Ryan Reed led 8 laps and was 31st. Chris Cockrum and Joey Gase were 37th and 38th due to a lap 30 wreck.
Sunday was the Cup race. Brad Keselowski won with 46 laps led, followed by Kyle Busch with 12 laps led, Austin Dillon, Jamie McMurray and pole-sitter rookie Chase Elliott with 37 laps led. Rounding out the top-10 were Tony Stewart, Clint Bowyer, Kurt Busch, Ryan Blaney and Trevor Bayne with 22 laps led. Bayne had a fast car, but lacked someone to draft with at the end. Michael Waltrip led 2 laps and was 12th. AJ Allmendinger was 14th with 1 lap led. Kevin Harvick led 9 laps and was 15th. Cole Whitt led 1 lap before finishing 18th. Bobby Labonte was 19th after 2 laps led. Matt Kenseth led 39 laps, Danica Patrick led 3 laps, Joey Logano led 6 laps, and Aric Almirola led 1 lap, before they all wrecked out along with Paul Menard on lap 180. Kenseth was 23rd, Patrick was 24th, Logano was 25th, Menard was 26th, Almirola was 27th due to the Big One. Ryan Newman led 1 lap and was 28th. Kyle Larson led 9 laps and finished 29th. Denny Hamlin led 5 laps before finishing 31st. David Ragan was 34th due to an engine problem after leading 2 laps. Carl Edwards crashed out on lap 109 and was 35th. Rookie Chris Buescher was 37th after an accident on lap 95. Michael Annett crashed after 94 laps and was 38th. Kasey Kahne had an accident on lap 82 and was 39th. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. was 40th due to an accident on lap 63.

Richmond Weekend
Hey folks! Here's my take on the Richmond weekend. The Trucks were off this time.
Saturday was the Xfinity race. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. won with 128 laps led, followed by Ty Dillon, Elliott Sadler, Daniel Suarez and Austin Dillon. Rounding out the top-10 were Cole Custer, Brendan Gaughan, Blake Koch, Brad Keselowski and rookie Brennan Poole.
Sunday was the Cup race. Carl Edwards won with 151 laps led, followed by Kyle Busch with78 laps led, Jimmie Johnson with 44 laps led, Kasey Kahne and polesitter Kevin Harvick with 63 laps led. Rounding out the top-10 were Denny Hamlin with 1 lap led, Matt Kenseth with 2 laps led, Joey Logano, Martin Truex, Jr. and Kurt Busch with 55 laps led. Brad Keselowski led 6 laps and was 11th. No one crashed out this time.

Bristol Weekend
Hey folks! Here's my take on the Bristol race. The Trucks were off this time.
Saturday was the Xfinity race. Erik Jones won from the pole with 62 laps led, followed by Kyle Busch with 43 laps led, Kyle Larson with 94 laps led, Austin Dillon and Justin Allgaier. Rounding out the top-10 were Daniel Suarez, Ty Dillon, Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano and Aric Almirola. Jeff Green was 27th after leading 1 lap. No one crashed out, but being a short track, it wasn't incident free.
Sunday was the Cup race. Carl Edwards won from the pole with 276 laps led, followed by Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Kurt Busch with 41 laps led, rookie Chase Elliott and hometown boy Trevor Bayne. This was Bayne's best Bristol Cup finish and first top-5 in the Cup since his 2011 Daytona 500 win Rounding out the top-10 were Matt DiBenedetto, Kevin Harvick with 13 laps led, Clint Bowyer, Ryan Newman and Joey Logano with 4 laps led. Paul Menard led 4 laps and was 15th. Landon Cassill led 20 laps and was 22nd. Matt Kenseth led 142 laps, but was 36th due to a trip to the garage that put him 40 laps down. Regan Smith was 37th due to an accident on lap 451. Kyle Busch was 38th after crashing out on lap 258.

Texas Weekend
Hey folks! Here's my take on the Texas weekend.
Friday night was the Xfinity race, Pole-sitter Kyle Busch won with 150 laps led, followed by rookie Erik Jones with 12 laps led, Brad Keselowski, Chase Elliott and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Rounding out the top-10 were Justin Allgaier, Elliott Sadler, Austin Dillon, rookie Brandon Jones and Ryan Sieg. Kyle Larson was 11th with 38 laps led. Kyle Larson was 11th after 38 laps led. Blake Koch was 34th due to an accident on lap 143. Jeb Burton was 35th after a lap 142 accident.

Matt Kenseth was 11th after 20 laps led. Trevor Bayne was 15th after 12 laps led. David Ragan led 1 lap before finishing 33rd. Brian Vickers was 37th after an accident on lap 290. Clint Bowyer had an accident after 289 laps and was 38th. Greg Biffle was 39th after crashing out on lap 286. Josh Wise was 40th after wrecking out on lap 178.

Martinsville Weekend
Hey folks! Here's my take on the Martinsville weekend. The Xfinity was off this weekend.
Saturday was the Truck race. Kyle Busch won with 123 laps led, followed by John H. Nemechek, rookie William Byron, Kyle Larson with 79 laps led and Timothy Peters. Rounding out the top-10 were Spencer Gallagher, Matt Crafton, Parker Kligerman, Cameron Haley with 11 laps led and rookie Rico Abreu. Polesitter rookie Ben Rhodes led 42 laps and was 16th. Justin Haley was 26th due to crashing out after 244 laps. Spencer Boyd was 28th after an accident on lap 237. Rookie Cole Custer was in an accident on lap 235, which left him 29th. Kaz Grela crashed out on lap 91 and was 31st. Johnny Sauter was 32nd due to an accident on lap 43.

Matt Kenseth was 15th with 45 laps led. Kevin Harvick led 72 laps and was 17th. Denny Hamlin was 39th due to an accident on lap 221. No one else wrecked out, but Josh Wise and Aric Almirola had engine problems.

Autism and Easter
Since they don't race on Easter, I decided to blog about Easter this time and tell what it's like for the autistic.
Easter has challenges for the autistic. For example, the Easter Bunny can be hard for kids on the spectrum. However, Caring Bunny is a program that allows kids that are autistic to get a picture with the Easter Bunny. The families are allowed to visit the Easter Bunny at the mall before hours, so they don't have the lines and crowds to deal with. Egg dying can trigger sensory issues, but OT can help with this in time. However, the kids may need to do this in steps or take breaks. Hunting eggs in the backyard is something those that are autistic can do, but these kids may not understand why this is done. Church services may be challenging, but those on the spectrum may enjoy the music (if they that happen to like music). Easter baskets are still possible, though the gifts may not be typical things. Those not on a special diet will enjoy some Easter candy, even if other Easter activities and elements may be challenging or need to be adapted to the needs of the autistic.
When I was younger, I did many typical Easter things. My cousins are older than me, so except when I was a tiny girl, they were old for egg hunts. However, one time when I was still a young girl, a friend of the family did an egg hunt for her grandson who was staying with her and for me. She had sporty eggs for him and girly ones for me. This woman I speak and her husband have a niece whose son is autistic, but not as high functioning as me. She hid the eggs in various places around her house. I did every other Easter thing when I was small, even saw an Easter bunny one time, though..
I started this the week after Easter, but I really slacked on my blog this year. Between all my other projects and sites I visit, my blog often got lost in the shuffle this year. That and real life. I got a 3 evenings a week cleaning job at a mall food court within a half hour of where I live. On the days I don't work, I might still have other things going on. Like Wednesdays, I volunteer someplace in the afternoon every other week as a rule and almost every Wednesday evening, I help with a girl's club at my church. Some Tuesdays and Thursdays, I do rec activities for developmentally disabled people and on the second Thursday of the month, my family goes to a buffet (if we choose to and it's not canceled). I go to it if there's no agency activity that interests me more than that dinner.

Hey folks! Here's my take on the Fontana weekend.
Saturday was the Xfinity race. Austin Dillon won with 1 lap led, followed by Kyle Busch with 133 laps led, Darrell Wallace, Jr., pole-sitter Daniel Suarez with 4 laps led and Elliott Sadler. Rounding out the top-10 were Kevin Harvick, Brendan Gaughan with 2 laps led, Kyle Larson with 5 laps led, rookie Brandon Jones, and Justin Allgaier. Aric Almirola was 11th with 3 laps led. Rookie Ryan Preece led 1 lap before finishing 25th. Dylan Lupton was 36th due to an accident on lap 56. Rookie Ray Black, Jr. was 37th after crashing out on lap 44.
Sunday was the Cup race. Jimmie Johnson won with 25 laps led, followed by Kevin Harvick with 142 laps led, Denny Hamlin with 2 laps led, Joey Logano with 3 laps led and Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. Rounding out the top-10 were rookie Chase Elliott with 1 lap led, Carl Edwards with 9 laps led, AJ Allmendinger, Brad Keselowski and Jamie McMurray. Matt Kenseth was 19th with 2 laps led. Pole-sitter Austin Dillon was 24th. Martin Truex, Jr. was 32nd after leading 21 laps. Rookie Ryan Blaney was 35th due to an accident on lap 195. Danica Patrick was 38th due to crashing out on lap 120. Kyle Larson was 39th due to wrecking out on lap 46.
The past 3 races (including this one) were the West Coast swing and were all of March's races. March is MS month, but I'm always aware of it because of Trevor Bayne racing with MS. He has no major symptoms, but I don't forget about it. This race was the last before Easter, when they don't race. Come back for a post about autism and Easter.
