Saturday night was the Cup race. The All-Star Race is a non-points race, but they can win 1 million dollars. Friday night, there was a race called the Showdown for drivers not already qualified for the
All-Star Race and the top two in that race made it into the All-Star race, along with race winners since last year's All-Star race and the fan vote winner. Denny Hamlin, the polesitter won the race with 26 laps led, followed by Kevin Harvick, Kurt Busch with 24 laps led, Jeff Gordon and Matt Kenseth. Rounding out the top-10 were Kyle Busch, Kasey Kahne with 11 laps led, Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski with 49 laps led and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. No one had a DNF, which is when they don't finish, but Danica Patrick completed only 78 laps due to being  temporarily off track.

Sunday was the Xfinity race. Chris Buescher won with 94 laps led, followed by Chase Elliott with 114 laps led, polesitter Erik Jones, Brian Scott and Ryan Blaney with 1 lap led.
