Kansas Weekend

Hey folks! Here's my take on the Kansas race weekend. The Trucks were off this time, so it was two Kansas races.


Saturday was the Nationwide race. Kyle Busch won with 34 laps led, followed by Kevin Harvick with 47 laps led, Ryan Blaney with 33 laps led, Paul Menard and rookie Ty Dillon with 6 laps led. Rounding out the top-10 were Matt Kenseth with 8 laps led, Elliott Sadler with 37 laps led, Trevor Bayne, Brian Scott with 4 laps led and rookie Chase Elliott. Brendan Gaughan was 13th after 7 laps led. Rookie Chris Buescher led 20 laps before an accident put in the garage for a while and relegated him to  a 28th place finish. John Wes Townley led 4 laps before an accident relegated him to 31st place. Trevor's top-15 streak which started with first Kentucky race continues.  With four races to go Chas


Sunday was the Cup race. Joey Logano won with 122 laps led, followed by rookie Kyle Larson, Kyle Busch with 1 lap led, Martin Truex, Jr. and Carl Edwards. Rounding out the top-10 were Ryan Newman with 6 laps led, followed by Denny Hamlin, rookie Austin Dillon, Paul Menard and Brian Vickers. Kevin Harvick was 12th after 61 laps led.  Jeff Gordon was 14th after 1 lap led. Kasey Kahne was 22nd with 2 laps led.   Jamie McMurray was 25th with 27 laps led. Brad Keselowski was 36th from a race incident after 2 laps led. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. was 39th from a wreck after 45 laps led.
