Dover Weekend

Hey folks! Here's my take on the Dover weekend. All series raced this time.

Friday was the Truck race. Matt Crafton won with 76 laps led, followed by Daniel Suarez, rookie Christopher Bell, Johnny Sauter and rookie Cole Custer. Rounding out the top-10 were Spencer Gallagher, Tyler Reddick with 39 lap led, Ryan Truex, Daniel Hemric and Kaz Grala. Rookie polesitter William Byron was 11th after leading 80 laps.  Bobby Pierce was 26th after an accident on lap 176.  John Wes Townley  led 3 laps before an accident on lap 128 relegated him to 29th.

Saturday was the Xfinity race. Rookie Erik Jones won with 76 laps led, followed by Darrell Wallace, Jr., Alex Bowman with 33 laps led,  pole-sitter Justin Allgaier and Ty Dillon with 11 laps led. Rounding out the top-10 were Elliott Sadler, Joey Logano, Matt Tifft, Daniel Suarez and rookie Brennan Poole.  Justin Marks, who had an accident on the first lap, was the only one to crash out and was 40th.

Sunday was the Cup race. Matt Kenseth won with 48 laps led, followed by Kyle Larson with 85 laps led, rookie Chase Elliott, Kasey Kahne and Kurt Busch. Rounding out the top-10 were Brad Keselowski with 49 laps led, Denny Hamlin with 15 laps led, rookie Ryan Blaney, Martin Truex, Jr. with 47 laps led and Trevor Bayne. Pole-sitter Kevin Harvick was 15th after leading 117 laps. Joey Logano was 22nd with 2 laps led. Jimmie Johnson was 25 after 4 laps led. Carl Edwards led 27 laps and was 28th due to an accident on lap 359. Greg Biffle led 4 laps before an accident on lap 355 relegated him to 29th. Kyle Busch, Aric Almirola and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. crashed out on lap 354 and finished 30th, 31st and 32nd, respectively.  Michael Annett wrecked out on lap 223 and was 37th.   Reed Sorenson was 38th after crashing out on lap 204.  Regan Smith was 39th due to an accident on lap 139.  Matt DiBenedetto was 40th after crashing out on lap 116.
